NuclearFacts 2025

On November 5, 2025, the Fedoruk Centre hosted its annual NuclearFACTS symposium—a one-day event bringing together leaders from academia and industry to present, learn, and discuss current topics in nuclear science.

The day opened with remarks from moderator Dr. Larkin Mosscrop (PhD) and Fedoruk Centre Executive Director, Dr. Jeter Hall (PhD), followed by an engaging keynote presentation by Dr. Chris Yost (PhD), Vice President-Research, University of Regina.

A highlight of the program was a panel discussion, Preparing for Opportunities in the Nuclear Fuel Cycle, led by Dr. Mosscrop with invited panelists from both industry and academia.

Throughout the day, attendees participated in a range of presentations given by Fedoruk Centre-funded research Project Leaders and their teams, with scheduled breaks and networking opportunities.

In total, 67 participants joined the event—both in person and online—with most attending on-site at the Atrium building at Saskatoon’s Innovation Place Research and Technology Park.

Thank you to all speakers for your thoughtful and engaging presentations, and a special thank you to everyone who attended, shared registration information, and supported the planning and delivery of a successful event.
